Will Killzone 3 be the game that finally cons me into buying into motion gaming? When the Wii came out I didnt jump[pew pew pew!]. When the kinect was announced, demo'd, and eventually released I balked. Hell a while back I called for the move project to be abandoned less it make the PS3 look like a childs toy.
I have, however, for a while now been fiending for the return of lightguns (please who didnt have a secret crush on the Zapper, or even better the GunCon?) And the Socom/Killzone developers have heard my fanboy ramblings and made this little bit of ridiculousness.
Will it end up tucked away between my tv stand (dresser) and the wall (wall) next to the guitar (plastic, colorful, lame)? Undoubtedly. Will I have hours of fun waving around a plastic gun? Absolutely (Airsoft).
I must admit though the actually buying it bit will cause me a few mental math problems. At $39.99 the SharpShooter really isnt that exorbitantly priced until you factor in the fact that you still have to buy the Eye for another $39.99, and a Navigation controller bundle for $79.98. And at $160+ before I even buy the game I want to play I really have a hard time validating another chunk of plastic that will probably get thrown away when I finally decide to move (NEVER!)
Oh woe is me with the trials and tribulations of the lower middle class, do I waste my money on videogames, computers, or cheeseburger Saturdays....
